Pre-Feasibility Study Lampung Solar PV Highway
The construction of the Trans Sumatra toll road leaves space between the road and the ROW boundary. The empty space can be utilized for the construction of Lampung Solar PV Highway. The study was conducted to determine the feasibility of building the plant. In addition to utilizing these empty spaces, the construction of Solar PV Highway can reduce intermittent potential due to the movement of clouds covering the panel. At Solar PV Highway, cloud movement does not cover the entire panel because Solar PV panels extend along the toll road.
The study began with field surveys along the Trans Sumatra toll road located in Lampung, Indonesia. The study shows the results of site selection studies, the impact study of Lampung Solar PV Highway operation on the PLN grid and financial studies.
